Peak Adventure is a small but rapidly growing media production and content creation studio based in Golden, BC. Our company is passionate about creating high-quality content to be used in general, digital, and campaign marketing. We offer a mixed set of media services such as photography, videography, photo/video editing, motion graphics, graphic design, and website support. Job description
Peak Adventure is looking for a media specialist for a 3-month contract, with the possibility of a full-time permanent position if we are a good fit. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, passionate about engaging and creative media, has great communication skills, and excellent attention to detail. Here’s a bit more about the role:
Day-to-day Work with other Peak specialists to:
- Develop distinctive visual brand languages
- Create print pieces (brochures, posters, card-sets) and digital materials (ads, grid layouts, iconography)
- Organize, label, and prepare video and audio files
- Establish structured working project files in which to collaborate with the team
- Edit video and audio timelines in Premiere Pro and Audition
- Update and edit design or video files as per client feedback
- Manage project timelines and stay on top of deadlines
- Stay aware of project time budgets and track time
- Practice effective and direct written communication within the team
- Perform project quality assurance checks with close attention to detail
Soft Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize important tasks and work confidently under pressure
- Highly motivated and self-driven to excel and advance in the media field
- Strong interpersonal skills with a history of great team and client relationships
- Deadline-driven with good time-management skills
- Has an optimistic, proactive, ‘can-learn’ ‘can-do’ attitude
- Highly detailed-oriented with a commitment to quality
- Receptive to feedback
Hard Skills
- Strong skills in Adobe Illustrator, Indesign, Photoshop, Adobe XD, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and/or Audition
Requirements
- 2-3 years experience (approx)
- Working or commuting to Golden would be preferred, but not required
